Located outside of Sterzing (Vipiteno), the Rosskopf Mountain (Monte Cavallo) offers untouched meadows, slopes, paths, and a fabulous view. In the Rosskopf ski and leisure paradise, every day of your holiday offers one thing above all else: absolute freedom of choice. Do what you feel like doing and just let yourself go. Everything's possible, but nothing's mandatory!

Chalet Stern offers exclusive suites and nature right on your doorstep. An ideal place to retreat, relax, and regenerate for nature lovers, active athletes, and free spirits alike! Children ages 10 and up are also welcome.

GOOD REASONS FOR A LUXUS HOLIDAY IN CHALET STERN

  • Our chalets are a small oasis, surrounded by nature on 2000 meters above sea level.
  • The skiarea Rosskopf is a small ski- and hikeresort, which offers active holiday pleasures in the winter, as well as in the summer.
  • Our guests have their meals in small and separate Tyrolean Stuben.

The holiday at Chalet Stern high up on Rosskopf should be something very special. Therefore you should please keep in mind some important information when planning your holiday:

  • The journey demands a transfer via the NEW cable car Rosskopf and a short walk. A direct journey by car is not possible.
  • Children are welcomed in the Chalet Stern starting from an age of 10 years.
  • Please note that we do not accept pets!

The journey here itself is unusual with the NEW Rosskopf cable car bringing you up from the valley in just a few minutes. As you ascend, you'll get your first glimpses of the Wipptal and the city of Sterzing/Vipiteno at your feet. Once you disembark, it's just a short, but inspiring walk to our picturesque mountain chalet. There's no better way to kick off your holiday break on a mountain!
