Information about your accommodation above Sterzing/Vipiteno

  • The prices of the suites are given in Euros per night and per suite. They include our breakfast buffet (if booked directly), use of the wellness area.
  • We charge €120.00 per night for each additional guest.
  • The final cleaning costs vary by suite and are not included in the stated price. Further information can be found under the details for each suite.
  • Check-in from 2 to 4 p.m. | Check-out by 10 am
    Our guests are kindly requested to contact us by phone (0039 347 2454930) 1 day before arrival to facilitate their arrival.
  • You will receive the key for your chalet in our Restaurant Sternhütte, this is where check-in takes place.
  • Our location ensures that you can spend your holiday undisturbed and surrounded by the tranquillity of nature. This assumes that you will arrive via the NEW Rosskopf cable car which will take you to our mountain chalet high above Sterzing/Vipiteno. After a short,10 minute walk, you will have reached your holiday accommodation. We will transport your luggage for you from the cable car's mountain station.
  • We want to ensure our guests as much peace and quiet as possible during their time with us. Therefore, we only welcome children who are ages 10 and up.
  • Unfortunately, dogs and other pets are not allowed at Chalet Stern.
  • For very special occasions, you can book the entire chalet and even the Sternhütte restaurant. Prices and information on request.

  • There are paid parking spaces directly at the valley station at a price of 0.60 euros per hour.

Cancellation conditions

General cancellation conditions: Of course we understand that something can always come up. Therefore we will of course try to re-allocate the booked chalet. If this is not possible, we unfortunately have to charge the following costs:

  •    Up to 30 days before the start of your stay you can cancel free of charge or rebook to another period
  •    Up to 14 days before the start of the trip 50% of the total price will be charged
  •    From 14 days before the start of the trip, in case of late arrival, no-show or early departure 100% of the total price         will be charged

Just 100 m below the chalets at the Rosskopf cable car station is Sterzing ski rental and ski school, staffed with young, dedicated, and friendly ski instructors. Here you can book ski lessons in winter to improve your skiing skills or sign up for guided snowshoe hikes
